Here at V Chain we have recently been recruiting due to an increase in demand from our clients as we head into the New Year!
During the interview process we always like to work with our candidates, to assist them in letting them know the skills that we do look for, particularly in a role that requires no previous experience (such as ours) it's important to know what skillset an employer looks for in order to adequately separate yourself.
Indeed, V Chain don't have a pre-requisite of qualifications or practical experience when they seek to acquire talent. Instead, the firm values a number of soft skills that they consider crucial to success in their industry.
“Soft skills” refer to a cluster of personal qualities, habits, attitudes and social graces that make someone a good employee and compatible to work with.
V Chain wanted to release this statement to share the top soft skills that we feel make the ideal candidate!
First up! It has to be communication.
Communication
First and foremost, communication is the most sought after skill for V Chain. As a firm that specialises in customer acquisition via face-to-face marketing techniques, it is imperative that the firm’s brand representatives are effective communicators.
Can an individual adjust their tone and style accordingly depending on their audience? Can they communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and clients alike?
Teamwork
To be a great team player, a combination of soft skills are required. Working together towards a common goal requires the intuition and interpersonal awareness to recognise when to take control and lead, and when to sit back and listen. Good team players are perceptive, as well as receptive to the needs and responsibilities of others.
Self-Motivation
At V Chain, being able to work as part of a team is crucial; however, the ability to work autonomously and maintain motivation is imperative. The whole team at V Chain must possess self-motivation to maintain a solid work ethic without any supervision.
Leadership
‘Every business is built upon solid leadership foundations’
commented Vasile Topciu, V Chain CEO. Leadership is one of the first things that the firm teaches recruits. Therefore, whilst leadership is a skill built over time, leadership capabilities are one of the soft skills that they value highly.
Positive Attitude
Last but not least, one of the most important soft skills for V Chain is a positive attitude. The outsourced sales and marketing specialists believe that with a positive attitude, anything is possible.
